Keeping this motive in mind, Harivandana Education trust has given birth to this college for Computer & Information Technology, Commerce & Management, Science, Legal studies and Education. The college is 100% self-financed. The aim of this college is to make the youth skilled, active and dynamic so that they can put forward their best services to the society in upcoming days. Well educated and well mannered citizens are essential for the molding of the nation. The courses offered are designed in such a way that they provide some vital learning aspects which can keep pace with the changes taking place in the Information Technology, Commerce & Management and Education field gradually.

Smart India Hackathon

Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a premier nationwide initiative designed to engage students in solving some of the most pressing challenges faced in everyday life. Launched to foster a culture of innovation and practical problem-solving, SIH provides a dynamic platform for students to develop and showcase their creative solutions to real-world problems. By encouraging participants to think critically and innovatively, the hackathon aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.

Since its inception, SIH has garnered significant success in promoting out-of-the-box thinking among young minds, particularly engineering students from across India. Each edition has built on the previous one, refining its approach and expanding its impact. The hackathon not only offers students an opportunity to showcase their skills but also encourages collaboration with industry experts, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Celebration of National Space...

As announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Govt. of India has declared 23rd August of every year as “National Space Day” to commemorate the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, which accomplished safe and soft-landing of Vikram Lander at ‘Shiv Shakti’[point and deployment of Pragyaan Rover on the lunar surface on 23rd August 2023.  Being the maiden National Space Day, it is proposed to organize widespread celebrations throughout the country in the month of August 2024. The objective is to engage and inspire the youth of the nation towards space technology and its applications. The proposed theme for the National Space Day -2024 is “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga”.

In honor of this occasion, we encourage your institution to organize the following events:

  • One-day Conference/Workshop/ Exhibition centered around themes relevant to National Space Day.
  • Space Ideathon: To be organized at Universities/ institutions to bring out innovative ideas for class 8-12 students.
  • Competition for students: To organize for online competitions  like painting, quiz, model making etc.

It is also informed that the celebrations also mark various other activities being undertaken by different organizations :

  • VIBHA’s Space on Wheels: Mobile exhibition buses will visit universities and colleges. during National Space Day celebrations.
  • The Department of Space is also organizing the following events:
    • Bharathiya Antariksh Hackathon: A national level hackathon will be organized by ISRO. Various problem statements will be announced to the students and will be encouraged to come up with innovative ideas. Based on the responses received, teams will be shortlisted to participate in finale at selected Centres. Students who excel in finale shall be offered internships at ISRO Centres. Winners (Top 3 Nos.) of the Hackathon will be invited to demonstrate the applications during the National Space Day Celebration on August 23, 2024.  
    • ISRO Robotics Challenge.' Being organised to provide the opportunity for the students in the area of space robotics, with a tagline of "Let's build a space robot". The challenge consists of an engineering project where the institutional teams build robots to compete in an extra-terrestrial-inspired arena, performing tasks based on the real-life challenges faced by space robotics. Winners (Top 3 Nos.) of the Robotics Challenge will be invited to demonstrate the projects during the National Space Day Celebration on August 23, 2024.
    • Events at zonal level -Will be coordinated by designated ISRO Centres/ lN-SPACe/ NSIL. These Zonal level celebrations include open-house, exhibitions, round-table discussions or debates etc., on 22nd & 23rd of August 2024. Some programmes can be organized 1-2 weeks prior to the National Space Day, so that glimpses of the nation-vide celebrations/ pre-events can be showcased during the main celebration on August 23,2024.
    • Commemorative plaques/pylons.' A ceremonial unveiling will be carried at designated locations during this period to honour the historic achievement of Chandrayaan-3's successful lunar landing.

This year, a two-day event on 22nd and 23rd August , 2024 will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi showcasing the journey of the Indian Space programme, session for ministries/ industry/start-up/academia, exhibition and release of a major report. We encourage your participation in this event, which includes exhibits in exhibition focused on themes of Space. Please convey your interest in participation in the exhibition at Bharat Mandapam in the attached google form link https://forms.gle/3mKscaS44oG1kmUq5. Subsequently the details for the exhibition will be shared. The day will feature a session specifically tailored for academic institutions as well. This will be coordinated by the IIST providing an excellent opportunity for collaboration and engagement within the space community.

We are delighted to announce that the All-India Council for Technical Education - AICTE Training and Learning Bureau (AICTE-TLB), in collaboration with Edunet Foundation is offering Student Development Programs on IR 4.0/5.0 Technologies as part of the Next Gen Employability Program, a CSR initiative by EY Global Delivery Services.

Program Brief:

Next Gen Employability Program aims to bridge the employability gap by equipping students with critical skills in Modern Web Applications with MERN Stack. By fostering these future-ready skills, the program is poised to significantly enhance the employability of participating students, thus contributing to India's economic growth and the overall development of its workforce.

In addition to training, students can leverage their creative and innovative abilities through capstone projects that create technical solutions for real-world use cases. This ensures the learning and application of technology in a relatable local context. The program also provided its learners with opportunities to collaborate/ interact with experts from the industry and learn from them directly. This helps the students to understand the world of work.

On successful completion, students are provided with opportunities for internships and jobs as a part of the program with the institute’s support.

Participation in Wheebox Globa...

Greetings from AICTE!

We are pleased to inform you that the partnership between All India Council for Technical Education and Wheebox-ETS (Educational Testing Service) in mapping employability skills of the students of higher educational institutions yielded tangible results and the effort culminated into building India Skills Report 2024 which was unveiled in the month of November 2023, in the presence of esteemed government and industry dignitaries. Salient insights from report are attached for perusal please.

AICTE and Wheebox-ETS are now launching India Skills Report 2025, The theme for this year’s report is “Global Talent Mobility”, where we are assessing global employability market and potential outreach for our students.
To make the initiative move further, you are requested to facilitate conducting of Wheebox Global Employability Test by your students in an online mode. The purpose of this test is to measure critical competencies of candidate’s employability. The outcome of the test shall help your institution identify core strengths and areas of improvement of students.

We shall appreciate and look forward to your support to spread the reach of this fruitful exercise and enable its promotion in wider gamut of Engineering & Technology and Business Schools along with universities in India.

You may please register institutional nomination at www.globalemployabilitytest.com and register at the earliest. Students need to  also register individually on http://www.globalemployabilitytest.com and take the test. The test will commence from 22nd July, 2024 and will close on 30th Sept 2024. The transcripts and certificate of the employability test will be available at NO COST to the candidates and institutions. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that partners Wheebox ETS shall also seek nominations from all test takers to participate in Regional Job Fairs.
